Thanks very much to this site for the great information and helping me cure my broody hen. She had been crazy broody for 2 months and had all of the other hens laying outside the coop, etc. It was a mess. So we finally isolated her in an old hutch for 4 days. It took a few days for her to calm down and quit the clucking but it worked! Last night she was back in the coop on the perch and today she is out and about like nothing ever happened. I wish we would have done it sooner because now there is a bush the other hens are laying under. I hope they go back to the coop. Just wanted to share my story. It really worked. THANK YOU ALL!
