I have been trying to search and research the forum as best I can but now my curiosity is killing me. Please help me identify our babies.
when they first got here

Really? Funny, I was thinking seabrights, isa browns, and a welsummer. That's why I am asking.

I originally thought wyandotte. their skin was black, now I need to check.

On the pics, on the darkest of the laced birds, the face skin and comb look black. Could be an indication of Silkie in the lineage, but there'd likely be 5 toes and some fuzz on the feet, and possibly a small crest. One of them in the babies pic does look kind of like there is a bump on the head[some crested birds have that, but usually more to the front of the head] but that could well be a bit of fuzz, too,

OK of the 3 black ones the tiny one has black skin. The other two are like grey or greenish.

Hmm, not Wyandottes then. Your first guess of Sebright may be right after all, sebrights have slate legs. The black skinned one is probably a cross either way.

Does the small one have any foot feathering or extra toes?

none at all but it took forever for the gold lacing to show. We thought she was a maran at first.
