I raise horses, have dogs & cats. Worked with cattle and other smaller stock for over 35+ yrs
I’ve had to do some home med on them all at one point

My curiosity …
Can chickens get headaches associated with fever? Do chickens fever?
If need, taking temperatures ??? Like a horse or dog???

Chickens can have very different body temperatures ranging from 102-108. If the have stopped eating, the temps can be lower. Of course they run fevers, but sometimes it is hard to tell because of the range. I figure if they have a headache, they might be lethargic and quiet, or to the other extreme, excited and frightened.

Thank you for that info. I just think I’ve ever heard or read about it, so I though to ask the experienced. The temp range is also good to know. Thanks!!!
