Curious about chicken language

My chicken "talk" to chickens in a neighbor's yard about 20 yards away. Or rather my rooster calls to them and they answer back. I think he'd like to lure them into his harem.

I hear something similar. All my adult roosters are penned. Neighbor has a couple pullets only. They make a lot of racket each evening as going to roost which sets my roosters to crowing. A couple time the pullets came over in the morning only to be captured and promptly returned to the neighbors.
