we just won eggs on ebay 12 blue black splash eggs and i was curious if there was any way to tell fertility before hurt the egg at all

No. You can either sacrifice one egg to check fertility and hope they are all fertile, or just set them and candle at the proper times. If you got them from a reputable seller on ebay I would just set them. You are probably going to have a couple losses anyway.
