My hens are so curious! they especially pay attention to things that are different colored from green. (i have grass in my coop) mine don't eat lettuce or celery.

Mine come running to watch every little thing we do in the back yard. I swear they have us under surveillance! It's funny how they follow my husband when he's outside.

They love red things usually and will inspect that first. They aren't stupid, they know you give them food so they have to be sure you don't have any each time you go out there hehe. They really do have personalities and stuff that surprises first time chicken owners.
