Curled foot on 3 day old barred rock

Mixed some water into the chick starter on a piece of cardboard for her, and she’s eating that while she’s poking out a bit from under the heat plate.

She seems to be doing about the same this morning. She definitely has an appetite and ate the starter mixed with water I gave her. Poor dear can’t move without pain though. I know when she’s adjusting herself under the heating plate because she just cries. 😣

Giving the riboflavin (B complex) won't hurt anything and may help, so I would do that regardless, it's really quite common in babies, once it's reversed they are usually normal after that. I can't see well enough in the videos, so I'm going to give you several links to see if you can tell if it's a slipped tendon in the hock joint, which is caused by perosis (explained in the first link below). If it's that, then the sooner you try to fix it the better the chance of recovery, but some chicks don't recover. Worth a try. If left untreated it can become a rotated leg, which is worse and would perhaps require surgery to repair.

A couple of videos below, the second is best at seeing the tendon move:

Excellent! Thank you for the links and video! I’ll pick up some vitamin b today and take a closer look at her hock.

It never hurts to try the B vitamins or riboflavin, since they are hard to overdose, and may help even a leg injury. But I think it could be injured because it looks a bit swollen, or she has another problem as Coach pointed out. Even if it is injured, you can tape the foot as in my link above.

Great! I’ll get her taped up today. Thanks for your advice!

So I got home for lunch and her foot doesn’t seem to be curled up, but she still can’t stand and is using her wings to move around. I gave her some vitamin b mixed in water, but it’s hard to get her to drink. 😔 Honestly kind of doubting she’ll make it she’s just getting so much less food and water than the others. She’s already noticeably smaller... And I have to go back to work so it’ll be a few more hours until I can check on her.

She may be smaller due to not getting enough feed, or could be not thriving. I had a very small chick 3 weeks ago, that has caught up and is equal in size to hatchmates now.
You can also use a chick chair to help keep her upright and comfortable, and make it easier for her to eat and drink. Examples here:

Thanks for linking the chick chairs. I’ll give that a shot when I get home. It’s good to hear your chick caught up, it gives me some hope! And yeah I’m pretty sure it’s due to not getting enough food.

Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions. Unfortunately Vera kept getting worse, and I made the incredibly difficult decision to help her along this evening. I buried her in my flower bed of lavender. I knew this was something that might happen when I was planning for chicks, but I certainly didn't expect it and its been heartbreaking. Here are some pictures of Vera the day she came home before she got sick.
