Just got some freebie chickens/rooster. The boy has a curled spur. What is best to prevent damage to leg?? Have an appointment w/my vet but not quite sure how/why this happened or what to do.

Spurs are often curved.
Please post a pic of spurs and tell us how old this bird is, in months.
