Curled Toes, Am I doing this correctly?

Oh my that looks like riboflavin deficiency.

Curly toe paralysis, looks like to me but I am obviously not sure.

Treatment is B vitamins- some use poly vi sol without iron (do byc search if needed). Milk products have riboflavin, too.

Here are a couple of sites that may help you too:

Ohh thats interesting!

But I think my chick got his from incubation temperature since it had this since it was born while the other chicks are doing fine. I also feed it a baby chick feed thats from a feed store so it should be fine

Its active and runs around, and doesnt seem to have any muscle atrophies. But thank you for the information! I will keep an eye out on the other chicks to make sure its not it! He seems to be paralized in the toes tho, it cant move the toes so i may have to make a permenant one when it gets older

I'll post in the future to let you know how it does :)

Here is an update! I change the bandage tape every other day to check, it made improvements the first time already and today it was looking really good! Still not perfect but I believe in the future he/she wont need it anymore :)! Hes super healthy always the one running to get food :)

After only 1 week of wearing his boots hes all better! I realized he has a crooked beak as well and hes the runt of the big group. BUT its super feisty and determined! He is always the one in the middle of the food! Although I dont think he will ever perch ... but I think he has a bright future :)

here he is waiting for me to put on the boots

preparing for boots! and putting them on!

hes the tiny white one. Its is pretty high on the pecking order... or at least it acts like it is lol
