I have a 5 week old chicken who I just noticed yesterday has curled toes. I don't know how I didn't notice it sooner. She spends most of her time laying down and can get to food and water usually. When I go in the coop to feed and water them the chickens panic and end up stampeeding her! I feel like she could get along fine and live fine, I'm just worried the other chickens will kill her! I don't want to segregate her because I feel like she'll always be the weak one and I'll never be able to reintroduce her without them bullying her.

Does anyone have any advice? My husband wonders if we should just put her out of her misery so she doesn't die a painful death but I really want to try to help her. Is it possible to fix it when she is this old (they're getting pretty big). It's so sad, she walks with her feet completely curled under, and if another chicken so much as brushes her when she's walking she falls over. I really want to help her, even if that means we have to end her suffering... Please help me. Any advice would really be apperciated. Thank you.

vitiamin defiency. needs vitamin B1, You can get liquids from feed stores

Will this fix her toes? Or just keep it from getting worse? Do I just give it to all of the chickens? Or some how make it so only she gets it?

Go on backyard chickens type in curled toes, you will find helpful information . Some people make homemade shoes for them ! I have not heard how well their chickens are doing.
