sounds like you made yourself a little friendOkay thanks I posted on the raising chicks and then I was like maybe I should have did it on the emergency one but I had already posted so...I have been really concerned about that poor chick it is so energetic but it cant walk it is so pitiful I cant even put it in with its siblings because I'm afraid it would get shavings in its eyes from scratching around trying to walk

I will try and get some pics today when we get back from church the siblings are all doing fine, I eggtopsied the other eggs that didnt hatch and two had a bacteria problem and the other ones got ready to hatch, one even absorbed the yolk, and they just quit I guess or the weren't able to pip and suffocated... but like I said before in the post this has been a rough incubation. We had one die like in the first week, when we cracked it, it had three eyessounds like you made yourself a little friend
please upload pictures of how it looks todaywe love pictures
I'm sorry for your loss @GunnyBun. Broke Toe Jr. was lucky to have you aroundWell I have sad news to end this thread on... I started doing some physical therapy on the baby, me and my sister named him/her Broke Toe Jr. after one of the old white leghorns we had that had a broke toe. Anyway we started doing therapy, got Broke Toe Jr. to walking, albeit stumbly, clumsy walking but it was good enough for him/her to start living with the siblings. Well we moved the babies yesterday to our garage, and I really wasnt planning on one of our cats getting trapped in the garage but he did and before I realized it he made a small feast out of my sweet little Broke Toe Jr. I don't blame the cat if I was locked in a room and there was a tasty snack in there I would eat it. I'm disappointed I had such high hope's for him after we got him walking and eating and drinking... but I just hope that maybe it was better for his life to end now, maybe something wasnt right to begin with... thanks @Stipenvlerk for commenting and helping me, and you might say you didnt do much but you encouraged me to keep trying!
