What's it called?

Hey everyone! One of my standard sized pullets just laid her first egg today and I'm not sure what to call it. It's about the size of a bantam egg, so I was thinking it had no yolk, but I hollowed it out and it did have a normal sized yolk in it. I've gotten much smaller eggs before about the size of quail eggs (not hollowed, just hoping they never explode! ) and have labeled them as fairy eggs. Would this new eggs be a fairy egg as well? I'm just wondering because I save and label weird ones like this.

It sounds like just a pullet egg. Doesn't always happen but their first few eggs are often quite a bit smaller than what will be normal for that bird once they've been laying for a while.

I just got one today from a (large fowl) RIR that only weighs 43g / 1.5oz

I agree, pullet egg. They can be pretty small, especially if the pullet laying it is still very young. They should get larger fairly rapidly. I'd just label it pullet egg or first egg.
