Hiya and welcome to BYC! :frow

I’ve fixed many a silkies toes and legs. For the toes we cut a piece of thin cardboard like from a cereal box into a triangle about the size of the chicks foot, then round the corners. Have masking tape ready. Plant the foot down on the cardboard making sure its toes are in the right place, tape the foot down. Carefully trim off any extra. Leave it on for 24 hours then check. Most times, that’s all it takes. If not, put another one on.

For splayed legs, I cut a strip of vet wrap about a half inch wide by about 6 inches long. A bandaid can work too. Wrap it around one leg, then space the legs apart so they are straight under it, then wrap the other leg and gently cut the extra off. This usually takes two days, maybe three. I take this off once a day for a couple of hours, then back on again.

Both issues are very fixable and you’ll save this chick from being crippled as it grows up!
