I got up this morning... Went out to let the birds out of the coop...
Everyone was doing thier usual stretches... I stayed out extra long and let them out earlier than the sunrise since I re-indroduced blu (see related posts about my blu (purple) faced bird...
I was sitting on the back porch so I could keep an eye on them all from a distance... Curly gets up on the lawn chair I have set-up in the run for my sitting down... He stretches a bit and lets out this crazy noise just as the sunlight breaks the plane of the trees...
It sounded like a rusty hinge but a bit higher pitched, I suppose since Curly is still an adolecent his voise is still waiting to change. The girls all picked up thier heads and looked around... Wondering what the noise was... I did the same thing... I thought maybe the door to the coop was coming open, maybe I had left the hook unlatched?
So he does it again... and they all run into the coop... except for Curly...
By this time I had gotten halfway to the coop, as I was not expecting the noise either...
I start to laugh... Curly looks up at me like I am crazy....
I was laughing so much my mother came out to see what I was doing...
My boy is becoming a man....
