Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

We saw "Burnt" this afternoon. Bradley Cooper did not disappoint. For some reason the movie did not receive great reviews, but we really liked his portrayal of an addict's journey towards sobriety and trust. It particularly resonated with me.

Hoping to see Sicario today. See an interesting one "Spotlight" is coming up on Friday as is Spectre.

The Silver linings Playbook - gang looks to be back in one coming out next month (for Xmas???) called "Joy." Hope Santa brings me some more movie gift cards.

I think she opened it up to everything. There are so many movies I never got to watch, but now that I have shamefully become a netflix addict, I have to catch up.

I will see if that is on netflix and give it a try.
I watched trains planes and automobiles a few months back and I loved it. I never would have gotten around to it if it were not for net flix.

Bama you're GOOD! This has been expanded to include, old movies, rentals, streaming, made for TV movies, TV series etc. This can be your safe haven Bama - just be good.

I've never seen that movie Bama but, I've seen mention of it here and other places, as being very good & know people use certain catch phrases from it.

Today I saw "Sicario." which is about the Mexican drug cartel and plainly shows that the bad and good guys are very hard to differentiate. Very good movie, very good performers. Brother and I both give it 3.5 stars

Holy frill, haven't been on Netflix in weeks. Just logged on and saw a bell with a 1 on it, what's that? !!!!!!! Anyone watch 'The 100' ?
Netflix now has the second season, highly recommend it, more of a teen series but I loved the first season, kinda like Steven Spielberg's Terra Nova, or 'Outcasts' or 'Earth 2', another show that got cancelled way to early, give all four ten thumbs up! Off to Netflix, going to be super tired at work tomorrow....
