You dno't HAVE to rewatch them If you do just the first 2 deadpool movies you'll be fine. But there are like a hundred callbacks or more to older properties. And some of the cameos are for movies that came out before you were born. :p

I can think of at least one major callback to a movie that never actually came out, so I’m going to second ‘just watch the first two Deadpool movies.’

You might even be okay without those, I’m trying to remember how much of the relevant backstory got summarized in #3 and how much was just me remembering because I’d seen the first two. 🤔 I think most of the important background they cover outright or is pretty easy to infer from the setup/character interactions.

Let me put it this way: it’s been a few years since I saw Deadpool 1 and 2, and I was still able to follow the plot without a refresh beforehand.
