Okay guys, just saw "The Kingsman : Secret Service. My brother and I both rate it 3.5 out of 4 stars. This is a Bond type movie on steroids,. over the top on everything and a lot of fun to watch. They even manage to make "gory," into something fresh and creative .Collin Firth and Samuel Jackson are a real hoot.

Sorry I can't think of the name of the guy who plays a young recruit. I've never seen him before but, after this movie, I'm sure he'll be appearing everywhere. He is very good and made this movie his own. A young woman villain, has a great future ahead of her also.

I am geared up to go see it again when possible. I will say, do pay attention to early parts to the movie. I didn't watch intently enough, so pestered my brother with -" did so and so do that or did a good guy do that." He hates when I do that. Go out and have fun with this movie - we did, among the bitter single digit weather, wind and piles of snow that refuse to melt.

Went to pick up Big Hero 6 today, nowhere to be found. Grabbed A Walk Among the Tombstones for DH for his birthday gift and Book of Life for DD.

I think your hubby will like "Walk," Liam is very good but, somewhat toned down from his "Taken" character

Big Hero 6 was great. Looking forward to Kingsman.

Today we saw "Still Alice" - far from an uplifting film, but a show with an impact. Very well acted - even Alec Baldwin. Don't see it if you want light entertainment. 4 stars.

Thanks Sour, I haven't been able to get to that one - starting time is too late for me. I have seen her in many things and she is always good.

Alec Baldwin was good - honestly???? Maybe he is taking meds or something.

She was not good - she was great!

I despise Alec Baldwin as a person. I guess he was OK - 'good' would be a stretch for me. Heavy, heavy movie for me - Both of my brother in laws had Alzheimers.
