Batty, I think I am older than everybody - I'll be 68 in July. I love the Pirates Movies, I think it's Johnny Depp at his best. I also loved his "Dark Shadows." I had watched the TV series when I would get home from High school. Johnny was also great in "Edward Scissorhands."

Another favorite was "what's Eating ______ Grape." Can't remember his name, it was very , very good. And a very young Leo decaprio was his little , screwy brother.

Have to see if Netflix has it for streaming. I was so upset over Scissorhands because they thought he intentionally hurt that girl and banished him. I probably would have dated him. And gosh was he great with shrubbery!!

Gilbert Grape was on Netflix.
But they change availabilities a lot.

I read the book, and I guess my imagination did a better job.
I was a tad disappointed in it.
But Dicaprio was excellent in it.

Speaking of Dicaprio, Catch Me if you Can and the one with Robin Williams where he is a math whiz, both really good.
