Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

So, computer has been dead so I have been watching movies instead...
Trains, planes, and auto mobiles. I have been wanting to see it since it came out in the late eighties. I enjoyed it.
Dean Spanly again because I think it is my favorite movie.
And Hector and the search for happiness. I was not sure about it in the beginning, but I warmed up to it quickly and I think it was a really good movie worth the time to watch.

oh, and everyone learn from my disaster, before you download windows ten.. BACK UP EVERYTHING!!!! It killed our computer. Black screen -and even the reboot disks would not work.

Please don't tell me Eggsy - just the thought of Rod Serling and the words Twilight Zone make me cringe.
I try not to think about it.

Eggsy, My brother downloaded it the other day and much cussing and ranting followed. He said at work, they absolutely will not install it. You have a year to download it (for free). I don't plan to touch it until my son is out for the holidays. Maybe not even then.

I still have windows 7 - I can't make a leap of faith - because I have none. Glad I didn't go windows 8. Every time something is new and improved, it's always worse than the version before.

I needed to crash my computer anyway so I backed it up an redid it with windows 10.... WORTHLESS!!!. It looks like an upgraded version of windows 3.1 an just about every video file I own it say it could not play... I then reinstalled windows 7 an poof everything works fine again... For 24 hours anyway. The next morning I wake up to a failed windows update an a non working PC. So I had to reinstall again... Next morning, the same thing. Even though I told it to not update it most have downloaded them before I got to those settings. Yesterday I reinstalled windows 7 again. For those counting that's the 5th time this week I had to install an operating system on this one computer. This time I did not hook up the wifi card till I had told it that it could not update anything... Today is the first day in almost a week that I woke up to a still working computer.... Now I am a week behind on video editing.... All I got to work on was one 2 minute commercial an its still not done.

Finally got to see Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Either in spite of or due to, too many glowing reviews- I was disappointed in the movie. Just felt flat through too many car/motorcycle chases. The plot was confusing - to talkative, all the while I thought I would have rather been watching a Jason Bourne movie-. I give credit to Tom Cruise for keeping himself in great shape, and need for his"sans shirt" view so we know this.

I give it 2.5 stars my brother felt it wasn't as great as the reviews heralded but did give it 3 stars. Cruise has been so fantastic in so many movies (Rainman for one) another I can't name , where he was an assassin and paid cab driver Jamie Fox handsomely to schlep him all over various locations. In time the driver realizes what is going on and wants to bail. Of course that isn't possible. Very good movie.
