After being decidedly low-tech for years (antenna TV), this Christmas we're mounting a 55" smart TV over the mantle and springing for streaming Netflix. Can't hardly wait for that theater effect! (And, of course, catching up on all the cable series we've heard about)

I think it is the new Marvel series.
I promised my son I would wait until he got back for Christmas before I started it.

Yeah, It stunk being a perpetually disappointed kid, so.. yeah. If I can't do what I say, then I am no better. right?

Anyway, Gotham is good? That is nice to know.

I just finished up Broadchurch. Two seasons of anguish. At least they wrapped it up tidy enough. (David Tennent- I had to give it a try)
Very well done.. but oh man!
I think I could do with something lighter for a while.
That is what I said about Top of The Lake, too.

Heavy.

The only thing heavier was Spiral and that had French subtitles... which meant I had to pay closer attention than I wanted to.
I had to just walk away from it.
