Yesterday was a slow day, but got those 5 posts and a few more. Today we went to see "Fences". You are right, it's a good movie. Princess liked it a bit better than "Manchester by the Sea" so a 3.75 for her. I liked it a hair less so a 3.25 for me.

Sour, did you feel like smacking the daylights out of' someone' in the movie like I did?

At times, but it was all about a person trapped by their past. Much is true of the main character in "Manchester" where the character at least wants to rise above his demons but eventually says, "I am sorry, but I just can't beat this."

Can't wait to see "Hidden Figures," next week.

My brother gets a magazine from the Museum of Flight in WA. It just has a story of the lady mathematician - Katherine Johnson. She started second grade at age 6, moved on to high school by age 10, and enrolled in college by age 15. Just incredible. What a fantastic lady. If I ever run into Taraji Henson who plays her in the movie, I will ask her to autograph the magazine.

We saw "Jackie" today. Princess gives it a 3. I did not like the movie at all. Someone else will have to see it and give their opinion.

Saw 'HIDDEN FIGURES,' this morning- it's got our Oscar Vote. My brother and I , both gave it 4 out of 4 stars. Loved this movie from start to finish. A lot of pain, a lot of joy, and SUCCESS. The three starring black actresses, are fantastic in their roles- keeping their dignity despite the actions of bigoted white co-workers around them. But, don't take my word for it, go see it for yourself.
PS my brother says it is the ONLY movie he gave 4 stars .

I'm not sure but, he says so.
