Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Very good Sour. I saw a a preview for "Leave no Trace," with Ben Foster, comes out June 29. Not a horror movie. About a father and daughter that live in the woods until authorities are notified.

I bet it's a much better version of a sorta similar movie that starred Viggo Mortensen and his several children that he raised in an old bus, and home schooled them. I love Viggo usually but, he was just too weird in that one.

Saw "Tag" today. Based on the true story of a group of childhood friends who treat the month of May as a game of tag. At times it was a little slapstick and crude, but it really was funny. The entire audience appeared to enjoy it if the laughter was any indication. We both go 3 stars on this movie.

Saw the new Jurassic World -Pretty much the same, people hunting dinos, dinos chasing and eating people with a volcano thrown in for extra measure. The critics didn't like it much but, I enjoyed it - lots of action, the dino's seemed much more realistic, drama, some thrills , some side stuff that probably means at least another movie.

I wasn't expecting more so I was very satisfied with it. My brother only gave it 3 stars, I gave it 4.

Have to make mention that this time the woman(Ron Howard's daughter) in the story got more scenes than Chris Pratt. She also wore more sensible shoes(boots??) instead of her stiletto heels from the past movie. I still don't care for her. I can't believe any REAL woman would dress like she does.
