Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

You think ronott ? Maybe you could tinker with a better name for it.:gig:lau My brother would probably call it diarrhea of the mouth. He's my baby brother with lots of health problems, so he gets a free pass from me.
:goodpost:

Truth be Told when he is shopping or driving he keeps up a running patter. I try to listen out of respect but, get so goofed up I can't remember what I was looking for.

Also when I put groceries on the conveyor belt, he has to tinker - and re-arrange them to suit him. He blew up at me once and the checker told him off. He stormed out of the store mad at me - 'for making him look bad.' They don't bag your groceries at that store but, the checker did for me.

Got to see "John Wick" the 3rd. movie in the series. This one my brother actually watched a little and gave it 3 stars out of 4. I gave it 3.5. I still like the Matrix movies better but, Keanu is still fun to watch. I won't spoil anything but, at one point he uses an ordinary object to "off someone" in a most unusual way. I can't imagine how he could better himself in the next movie.

I was worn out just watching all the fighting and shooting and every thing that's goes with it. I also caught a couple scenes where I would tell his stunt man /body double whatever took his place. Hair and the look was the same but not same facial features. No dog was injured in this movie because the bad guys know how he reacts to that.

Kdogg would love the 2 Belgian Malinois attack dogs. They were magnificient.

It is a good thing that they film those movies over a long time and then spend longer on the special effects!

Anyone seen the new Deadwood movie? Love, love, love the 2 first seasons of the series, but the 3rd one annoys me with the super irritating bad guy (Hurst), so I've been eagerly awaiting the movie to see if Hurst got his comeuppance.

It was easy to fall right back into the deadwood mood with its complicated language and colorful people. Funny to see all the actors aged 10 years. Nothing sensational happened, but that's ok. Actually, it's more than ok, wouldn't have wanted anything too shocking. All in all a gem for those that love the deadwood series.

Thanks for the review!

It is on my list to binge the deadwood series and watch the movie

Saw "Rocketman." Taron Egerton doesn't just play "Elton John," he becomes him.
My brother gave the movie 4 stars out of 4. I give it 5 stars - 4 is just not enough. He also does his own singing.

I tend to make bold prophecies when I am swept away by a really fine movie - even this early in the year. I forsee "Rocketman," as the next Oscar best Movie. Plus Best Actor for Taron.

I always go to the first show of the day (digital)- usually the theater is mostly empty.
Today it was about half full. Talk was no one would want to see his story which, shows his drug use, homosexuality, and his childhood which won no prizes from his mother or his PITA father. I even teared up near the end, something that usually happens only when a puppy or dog dies in a movie.
