Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

Us. I enjoyed it, but had to use Google to clear a few things up. The film left me thinking how great it would be if I had an identical twin.

Stan & Ollie

Had no interest in the subject material going in to watching this but was absolutely charmed and entertained by every aspect of the film... 9/10

I might watch that one. It is available from Netflix DVD now

Raining so couldn't go to the zoo - ended up seeing Godzilla. My brother who slept through most of movie gave it 3 stars out of 4. I give it 0 stars. I used to be a Godzilla fan since the first movie in the '50's. They haven't done anything to refine his look,
which makes it too hard to believe he is any threat.

He looks like some lumpy clay model, I wouldn't be surprised if he really was. What a waste of $$$. I hope for my birthday I get another movie card, though the only one in coming attractions I like a little is one with Dave Batista who previously had played Drax in "Guardians of the Galaxy 1 & 2 and - the bad guy in the last James Bond movie.

PS should have watched "Rocketman" again - a million times better than Godzilla.

Today we saw "Rocketman". I don't know where they found Taron Egerton, but what an actor/singer/performer. He became Elton John. I have new found empathy for Elton John. Definitely maximum stars on this film from both of us.
I have heard that he is very good in the movie!

I told ya so Sour.

If you ever saw the very good movie called "The Kingsman." you would have see Taron. He was a recruit and he was great. Actually he and Collin Firth were great. Absolutely loved that movie, so I knew what Taron could do.

Taron was also in a movie "Robin Hood," which tanked. I never saw it but remember the review. And some other vague movie where he is mentally or physically challenged (never saw it) and Hugh Jackman was allegedly training him for the Olympics. That tanked also.

I think Kingsman was his big break. There was also a second movie where they came to USA to help the American group.(another stinko)

Ron the episode of Luther today was much like his early ones . Alice got a chance to do what she does best. Unless my mind was playing tricks on me, I believe near the end she kissed Luther and he didn't seem to mind. :th
