Thanks for the review! We're watching "The Assessment" on Hulu. 2/5. Watchable in a cringy sort of way. Also, it's very explicit, if that matters to you.

His movies can be hit or miss for sure!Saw 'Eddington' on Saturday. Great performance by Joaquin Phoenix, but movie was disjointed with some scenes that made no sense to the story. If anyone else has seen it, what was your opinion. The Princess goes 1 star. I'm uncertain as to my rating.![]()
We don't go to the movie theater often, okay, rarely. We saw Cabrini last year and Sound of Freedom and Nefarious in '23. I think that is it for the past 2 years.Combing backwards to see if I know any of these movies, but I more or less gave up watching new movies a long time ago. XD Most of them are either political, totally unoriginal, or just poorly made. It's unfortunate! I'll just have to go back to my childhood favorites, and occasionally try and watch something free on YouTube. XD
It is on our list. Either this weekend or next week. Can someone please go see the new Naked Gun and report back? The original is one of my favorite movies.
Yes, that's a lot how I feel. So many unnecessary little additions that just ruin the movie overall. I really wanted to see Sound of Freedom, but my grandma made us go watch Barbie, instead. I never felt like my time was more wasted. We don't go to the movie theater often, okay, rarely. We saw Cabrini last year and Sound of Freedom and Nefarious in '23. Now we have watched some older ones on the tv or streaming. Most of the time we would say, "Now, why did they have to put that in there?" after we left the theater. We know people think we are weird and we are happy to be in the weird minority. We find there is too much sex and things that are contrary to our Christian Faith.
It's not Christmas, but maybe time for It's a Wonderful Life or the Wizard of Oz. I'm different. We watched Jaws again a couple of weeks ago.
We might be kindred souls, somewhere in time.Yes, that's a lot how I feel. So many unnecessary little additions that just ruin the movie overall. I really wanted to see Sound of Freedom, but my grandma made us go watch Barbie, instead. I never felt like my time was more wasted.
I love It's a Wonderful Life, but my husband has somehow never seen it!! And doesn't seem to care to! A shock! I've never seen Jaws.
The last actually Christian movie we watched was called, I think, Silence. It was about Catholic priests in Japan. It was quite good, and I wish my husband were the type of person to want to watch movies more than once every five years, haha.
My husband is a little more loose on certain things we watch (some of which makes me go... come on), but we do both get frustrated by the political inserts and lack of quality that are so common in modern media. We don't go to the theater at all, and see very few new movies. We might be kindred souls, somewhere in time.
I am blessed that my husband agrees mostly...then there are the action movies that take over. Saving Private Ryan, hurt my heart, okay our hearts, but stated much.
I don't mind being in the minority and prefer it.
I look forward to your review. It looked really funny but the kind of humor I would expect from the naked gun series: a lot of bad punsIt is on our list. Either this weekend or next week.
