How many chickens are you having?Working to have this completed by the time our new flock will be old enough to move in. The farmhouse coop is 10 x 5 with 5 nest boxes and the run is 10 x 30. Plus they will be allowed to free range out of the run every now and then. This is where we are at now. Should be done very soon.
Is the pool water chilled?Thats when we jump in the pool!
Yeah it pretty much depends on what you prefer more and I just cant do the long cold winters. I cant live without my sunny days. My husband says he doesn't miss picking up after the snow. My brother in laws are like you in the sense that they don't do well in the heat. Now my mother in law loves to get down here any chance she can get. Lol. Our pool and a cool drink in hand keeps us cool just fine thoughIs the pool water chilled?
Cause I'd rather take a cold shower in the house
Seriously I hate the heat and humidity, it makes me sick.
Even up here it's a trial as I don't have AC.
My niece lived in Austin for decade and she explained that it's just like up north,
when temps are extreme you stay in the house or dash from place to place.
But eventually she moved back to Chicago.
Did you get your plans from Morgan Creek? We did but yes we did extend the coop by doubling up on itNice! My coop we just built is the same style. I wish we extended it like yours and made it bigger. Can't wait to see it all finished.
Thank you! That is a huge run! Looks amazing
It will house 14 chickensHow many chickens are you having?
