Curtains on door to coop

I would like to put some curtains on the door to coop to stop drafts in the winter. Any advice on how to do this so that the chickens know how to get through

I used an old heavier table cloth to make door flaps. Each flap is cloth with a piece of polyethylene closed cell packing foam between the fabric. It's not a tight fit between each flap, but does help to block wind.

The girls have no problems going thru the flaps. I did start them with most flaps pinned open, then gradually let more flaps down.

thanks for the advice. I will be using an old shower curtain but slowly adding little strips sounds like a great idea

You could buy an actual pet strip door.....
.....or build a foyer like I did.
Wicked west winds here with lots of snow, wanted to protect the pop door from icing up,
and had the glass panels.
