Such beautiful chickens! Thanks for sharing.

You mention having issues dealing with the cold. Not sure where you live, but we use Cozy Coop radiant heaters in the growout pen hutches. That keeps several chickens warm safely. You could move their roost away from the window and hang one or two of those behind it. Just an idea!

We are in Alberta. The windows have shutters we close in cold weather. We do use some heaters, but we plan on insulating a little this summer.
