Hello All,

I wish I was new here under better circumstances, but after a series of unfortunate events, I'm left with no choice but to rehome my flock of 7 silkies (6 hens). It breaks my heart because I've raised them from chicks, they are a happy, healthy flock, and I made their coop only a year ago. The rooster is a jerk, but he's small, keeps his ladies safe and is calm if you pick him up. They use an automatic door and a "rat-proof" feeder. They are producing WAY more eggs than I thought they would, especially since I've started putting cayenne and red pepper flakes in their food! They are all good with my (very calm) dog, even Sir Reganald (Reggie). They free-range in their yard, and sometimes in my backyard, and know to go back into their coop before the door shuts.

I live on the South Oregon coast. I can transport the chickens, but I can't transport the coop because it's too big for my Subaru.
