Curved wire floor in incubator

My LG still air incubator has had a curved wire bottom since I got it. I use it as a hatcher. Any tips for getting it to sit flatly?

I just cut pieces of wood to hold it up in the center. You can bend it over your knees as well, curved end, down, pushing against your knees. I use gloves with this since the wire can poke you.
