Custom chicken coop

New to BYC!! Here is my 24’x12’ run being built , and custom coop for 5 buff orpingtons they are only 2 weeks old still have some work to do before they go to the coop, the chicks are in the garage in metal horse feeding bin.

I'm guessing ... that your nesting boxes are going in that wide low opening on the floor under the roof over hang?

If so ... if you add a gutter and downspout ... it will make egg collection much nicer in the rain, and give your nest a better chance of staying dry.

Are you planning on covering the run with either roofing, or fencing/netting?

So the opening for nesting boxes will be the area that is boxed in attatched to the coop with a hinge door and shingles also I plan on a gutter system for rain water feeder and yes I’m boxing in the whole run with wire not sure what to use yet though
