Custom Designed Incubator Thermostat.

-These electronic thermostats are custom designed and built for my cabinet incubators but can be used on brooders, chicken coops, greenhouses even for a cooler with a light bulb and a computer fan.
-They can be used for heating and/or cooling
-There temperature range is variable on request. They are preset for 98-101 degrees.
-They have a hysteresis (Temperature variance between on/off) of 1/10th of a degree
-The temperature probe can be located anywhere from 0 to 30" from the circuit with the supplied wire but can be lengthened to any size.
-They are 2" x 3" x 1-1/4" in size.
-They are powered off of 120v and will switch any voltage up to 120v.
-They are rated @ 1200watts.
-All thermostats are tested prior to sale for full functionality.
-Instruction manual is included.
-I do offer a DIY kit for toughs of you that are capable of soldering. I sell them for 10 dollars less. I would rate the complexity in the Advanced range. If interested E-mail or PM me for more information.

I also offer a 7 day money back guarantee. Here are my stipulations on returns: Buyer must ship the circuit back to me with delivery conformation. I will then test the circuit for shorts from miss-wiring. If it is shorted i will refund the individuals money less the repair cost of the repair or return it to them to retry.( Which ever they prefer.) If the circuit is not shorted then i will refund the individuals money less the shipping cost.

I have one of Chris's thermostats in this incubator,

The temps are currently holding 99.7 degrees and never seems to move.

The only problem I have is that the thermo is very sensitive to adjust, moveing the control knob the width of a pencil mark will change the temp by about .02 Degrees. Once set, it holds rock solid temperatures. I dont know the high and low settings capability of the thermostat, it has plenty of adjustment room for Reptiles, Emus' or anything else I can think of that lays eggs. I will even be using one in a greenhouse to run the cooling fans.

The Incubator in the picture also has a humidity controller that Chris designed and built, as well as a motor controller for the turner trays. So far everything I have gotten from Chris has worked very well and I have hatched many eggs using his electronic equipment.

Thanks for the testimony Muddstopper. I'm glad that everything is working out. Sorry about the sensitivity. I could swap out the pot with a 500 ohm the make it less sensitive if you would like.
Since we are sharing pictures here is my most current incubator i sell. It is made out of solid walnut.

I run my thermostat at 100 degrees instead of 99.5 as you can see from the picture. (The upper temp is the back\\bottom of the incubator and the other is at the glass.) At this temp, i get a 99.6% hatch rate in 20 days.
I am also designing a 6' tall incubator\\hatcher as we speak. It will be picture worthy.

Per Muddstoppers suggestion, i have altered the basic thermostat to make it less sensitive. Instead of 85-106 degrees they will be stock set at 98-101 degrees. When purchasing tell me what temperature you will be setting it at and i will make it the center of three degrees. If using for a green house,brooder, or coop. Send me what you would want your lowest set temp to be and the highest you will need and i will adjust it to your needs.
