Cut chicken leg

I have created a problem, My son and I being new to chicken farming put zip ties on the pullets for identification. We were doing a good job checking the leg bands as the chick grew to prevent any from getting too tight. The problem arose when we removed all the leg band (or so we thought). One of my daughters noticed one still had a band on and it was now cutting into the leg. After they went to school this morning (in case something went wrong) I removed it and when I pulled it out of the leg, it began to bleed. She was walking with a limp and not putting weight on it when standing. I believe once the initial pain goes away the limp will go away.

Is their something I should put on it or will it naturally heal itself?

Chickens heal very well, so it will quite possibly heal on its own. I'd put a liitle Neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment on the wound, though.
