A couple of days ago my rooster had a small cut on his leg by his feet, it bled a little but it looked like it stopped. Now it looks like he has a cut on his leg again that is bleeding. It's not gushing blood but what do I do to have it heal up. There is lots of snow on the ground that he's walking on, so it keeps getting wet and not drying.

Hmmm, I am not really sure what you should do.
Is it possible to get him out of the snow and wet until it scabs over? You can use regular neosporin on chickens.

Unfortunately if I wait for the snow & wet to go away, I'll wait till April/May. We have long winters.

Do you have a dry place you can keep him for a few days? A wound dressing with a petroleum product base like neosporin or vaseline might keep the water off...

I do have a place but he would not be happy. I did get him and saw the wound closer. He has cuts on both legs and it looks like the hens have been pecking at it. I did put neosporin, hopefully they'll leave it alone - and it won't come off with the snow. If it doesn't get better tomorrow, I probably will have to force him to be isolated in a dry spot.

Not sure why he has that problem though.
