Cute coop idea

My chickens told me they want this for a coop. Then they can sit on the porch and swing and gossip about the ducks.

Wouldn't this be darling with a few additions. Maybe next year...

My dogs lay on the front porch of our coop and watch over the chickens.

Well, my coop sorta started out this way (like the coop on craigslist). Except the door onto the porch is the chicken's pop door and the people door is on the side.

Then, I felt I needed to partially enclose the porch so that they could be out there during bad weather when not loose to run around the yard. Now, it doesn't look so much like that . . .

This is a problem I face every time I look in the mirror - there's this practical side of me. After I've added the practical part to whatever I'm working on, the creative part has been pretty much sided over with tin . . . or some other crap.
