I never in a quadzillion years thought I'd love a canine as much as I love her. She's super special!

Awe, Michelle....what a sweet thing to say! Thanks!

I had a 13 yr old dog's spleen removed. It was very major surgery. I was told she would live 4-6 months because she was too old and she lived 3 more quality years. I'm sure your old lady will do great!

She's beautiful! My oldest dane, Havoc, turned 10 in March, he's a light marked harlequin, he's got cancer and probably isn't going to make it to 11. But he's had a good life and I'm glad we've had him this long!

My other dane, Iris, will be 8 in November, she just had surgery for a hematoma in her ear also! She's very healthy otherwise, so hopefully she'll make it to 10 or beyond (both parents died when they were 8)! She's white. I'll have to post pics of my babies when I have more time.

She's pretty. Looks just like my friend's Great Dane Lana.

I like Great Danes. Wouldn't want to own one but I like to play with them. My father thinks that they look big enough to be a big pony.

And he says that my Great Pyr. Koda is big enough!!!

Haviris - how neat that you have a few that are living long lives as well! That makes me hopeful that we'll have Macey many more years!

I'd love to see pics of your babies!!

4L - Koda looks PLENTY big! What a beauty!

Last time I weighed her was when she turned a year old on April 1st. She weighed 115 then. I bet she weighs 120 pounds or more. She's huge!!!! But she's still my "Big, White, Overgrown sized pup".

I just love her and my other dog Blackie to bits.

Awe...you know, there's nothing like a big, fluffy face to kiss!

Funny, when we had just a Bouvier, we thought he was HUGE. Then we got Macey. I still remember the day we realized she was as tall as the Bouv - I think she was 7 months old. She now towers over the Bouvier, and she doens't seem huge to me at all! I think with Danes, they are either really graceful or total klutzes. I have Macey, who is graceful, and we also have a black rescue Dane that is the other end of the spectrum. Bless his heart, he cannot walk though ANY room without knocking something over!
