Now, how many of you read the article and got this bit?

"After three days of shining a torch on to the egg shells, Atkins was reportedly shocked to see a beating heart and the chick hatch."

In that case the egg must have been a balut egg as ducklings take roughly 28 days to incubate and some even longer. And a miracle along with that as I've never heard of anyone hatching a CHICK from a DUCK egg before
