Cuteness alert!!!

So, I have some eggs in the incubator. 10 actually, they are from my own flock and couple of them piped last night. Today we have flurry of action in there. Left for a couple of hours to do some shopping and this is what I found on my return … we have five out, 2 are zipping and 2 piped. (One is still Playing possum) I did the dry hatch.

Congratulations it’s so much fun hatching! Yes they are cute I had some cuties hatch this week.I’ve tried hatching both ways I have my incubator in our Laundry room where it’s the warmest in the house and seems dry hatching is working better this year.

We are waiting for number 8!!! Day 22!!! (While we are waiting we are having our !!

Well… today is the end of day 22… out of 10 eggs set we have 9 live and healthy chicks. The last two hatched this morning and are still hanging out in the incubator with the egg named #8 … Yup I’m that imaginative . I’m hoping that there is still hope for the last . Would be nice to have 100% .

Those 9 eggs that hatched … well they are 11 days old and it was their first day outside and they looooved it !!!
