Yeah at 15 days you drill a hole in the air pocket end, i inject regular food dye, yes as soon as real feathers grow they are normal colors. They turned out soo well, but my reds turned out pink, and my purple was very light.. but im working on it...

You just injected the blue dye into the air pouch? Wouldn't that kinda kill it? Like, wouldn't it dry up the air pouch covering thinggy so the chick couldn't break out? You know, by making a hole in the outer shell. Doesn't that like dry up the air pouch? Or did you actually make a little hole in the actual air pouch to put the dye in? So, the dye actually went into the actual shell? But, wouldn't that kill the chick,too? WOW, I am confused. Post some more pics of your colorful chicks! I wanna see'em all!
