I tucked two blue Andalusians and one white under my broody BO this fall. Watching them snuggle up under mama and just fall right to sleep was the sweetest thing.

Awe, thank you. Was my first time letting a broody raise chicks and it was SERIOUSLY cute. I so want to do it again but I'm at my max for hens right now.

I WANT one of my hens to go broody, it they all seem very reluctant even though I have a rooster. I ordered some Buff Orpingtons, because they are supposed to get broody a lot, and they should arrive tomorrow!!! So excited! I just want to experience the joy of having one of my hens raise babies of her own. And believe me, after I got my first chickens, I knew I was going to get more.
