cutest chicken names!

Hubby and I just bought a small flock! Loving it. We have 25 eggs in the incubator,
4 Cornish X - no names, just 1,2,3,4.,
two - 4 week old chicks: 1 - Spitzhauben named Bernadette (or Bernie, if it be a boy),
1 - Gold Lace Wyandotte named Maude (or Moe, if it be a boy),
and the following Roo and his harem of girls:
1 - Cochin Roo (nice & beautiful)...Rusty
1 - Golden Lace Wyandotte...Rosie
3 - Cinnamon Queens...Bossie, Gert & Amber
1 - Americana...Foxy
1 - Silkie Cross...Lady

What fun this is!

I've got five chicks:
- Alyssa (GP Hamburg pullet, no real reason behind her name)
- Melodie (GP Hmaburg pullet, named after Melody Pond

)
- Charlie (BO whose gender is TBD, Charles for a rooster, Charlynn for a hen)
- Rex (EE whose gender is TBD, Brexton for a rooster, Regina (the female form of Reginald, which is shortened to Rex) for a hen)
- And Flounder ( Speckled Sussex whose gender is TBD, he falls over a lot, hence, a name that means to fall or struggle)
Flounder is really tiny, and he always falls over. Becuase he is so small, he gets picked on by Charlie and Rex. He's tiny, but super loud, so his name fits with the Little Mermaid reference too

Love all the names! My girls are Lavern and Miette(EE's), Frankie and Charlie (Wyandottes) and Starro (Buff). My son named three of them, I named one and my husband named one.

I guess some of mine have old lady names

They are:
April (Salmon Feverolle)
Elsa (White Maran)
Betty Lou (White Maran)
Tater (EE)
Tot (Salmon Faverolle)
Dixie Chick (BA)
Daisy (BA)
Pepper (EE)

I only have one hen that has an unusual type name and it is Nona ... as in No name. My husband took so long to decide a name that in the meantime we called her Nona jokingly and it just stuck! lol.

Here she is, she is a love.
