cutest chicken names!

My daughter is 3 and has named most of our 14 new chicks. We have 2 barred rocks Bonnie and Betty, an Austra white named Peppa, 2 golden nuggets named Goldie and Nugget a white silkie named Marshmallow (from frozen obviously lol) a partridge Cochin name Fannie and a silver laced wyandotte named Hollie. We have 4 black sex links and 2 silver laced that haven't shown "shown enough love" yet to be given names.

Oh and we also have a Banty rooster named Henry!

I have Taco (Giant black) Myrtle (gold laced Cochin) Hazel (buff Orphington) Violet (supposed to be a barred rock but she's solid black) Margot (silver laced Wyandotte) Olive (blue Easter egger) Honey (Easter egger X red sex link) Pepper (black Easter egger)
And I have a TON more names on my list for future chickens!

To go along with Elvis, our new chickens are also musically-themed - Bowie and Bjork (all hens). Bjork can say her own name! :D The next one will be Jarvis Cockerel. :)

These are my maran, Gold sex link pullets. The blue and one of the blacks are named after my great-grandmothers (Lois Virginia and Mildred Lucille, then the other black is Satomi and the Goldie is Carrots (aka Pickles)

These new chicks are Melanie and Gertrude the Golden Wyandottes, Artist and Wynonna the Ameracaunas, Abigail and Leigh the Speckled Sussexes, Henrietta the Polish, and Ginger the Rhode Island Red. We're a big fan of humble Southern names! I'm also hoping we get a rooster and have to change a name to something more burly.

I love some of these names! My husband wanted to name all of our chicks after popular dishes (Chicken Marsala, Lemon Chicken, Coq a Vin, etc.), but I couldn't stand thinking about my girls every time I eat at a French restaurant! We compromised and named them after spices/herbs. Right now we have:

Pepper (French Black Copper Marans)
Cinnamon (Buff Orpington)
Paprika (Rhode Island Red)
Rosemary (Easter Egger)

Next week I plan to get a Cream Legbar pullet to add to my chicks, but I haven't chosen a name for her. Does anyone know of another blue-flowering herb that would make a cute name? :)
