Cutting my chickens nails

I have an indoor chicken and I do cut her nails and beak when it gets too long. I did notice that some of the other hens have nails that are very long also. they are outside all day. Should I cut thier nails also?

How do you cut their nails? I have noticed that some of my older birds have long nails, and a bit curvy.

I use toe nail clippers and I am very careful not to cut the small toe veins. I do the bek the same way.

The kids cut the chickens nails. Just that very end is all you need - enough to take away the sharpness. We haven't tried trimming beaks yet, though I imagine it'll happen sooner or later now that the kids are into showing birds.
