How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

21 total. 7 came from a hidden nest in the front yard. Some silly hen laid her egg then joyfully and loudly announced it all over the place. DH went out to see what she was boasting about and found the stash. Fortunately it's been cold enough the last several days that the eggs are still good. The sensible hens laid 14 in the nests in the hen house like good girls. As we pay them to do!

Got 5. I found 1 in the box broke.

I caught one eating an egg but she may have broken accidentally .
I didn't get an egg from her either today which makes me suspicious

I decided it would be better to bring Darlin back inside. She was out in the garden by herself and I just can't let her be alone

My girl is still hanging on. She is eating a bit now but I don’t get my hopes up.

She’s only just 2 yrs old.

I have one who is laying her egg behind a gate in my ‘Renovation stall’ I have been working on (it will never get done…), I always glance there every few days just in case. Yesterday and today a lovely brown egg.

I don’t mind them laying in there and I laughed at whoever laid that egg, she made a lovely nest!

My girl is still hanging on. She is eating a bit now but I don’t get my hopes up.

She’s only just 2 yrs old.

Darlin will be 3 in April. She's still walking around but she's not eating or drinking so I am completely at a loss for what to do for her. She's my favorite because of her personality. I'm hoping she's going to recover but I have my doubts. I feel your pain also.
