Well horses have farriers, so would a farrier be able to cut a goat's hoof? i just found something telling you how to do it yourself, but i would be terrified i would hurt the goat. obviously i'm just starting out researching goats and i just want to know some about hoof trimming.

how would you do it yourself? i'd be afraid of doing it wrong and crippling the goat.

i guess if i had good instructions i could do it, plus good tools

IT's not hard, if you know someone else who has goats, they can show you.
Kinda like trimming fingernails, it's really not difficult.
If they bleed a bit, you can nail it with styptic powder and they'll survive.

We just did my 5 nigis yesterday. The hardest part for us is keeping them still without a table to put them on. Buy the nicest clippers you can afford, cheap ones will dull faster.

okay. thanks everyone. researching goats because i'm PRAYING i can get some. looking up good sized sheds, fences, etc. i have to pay for everything, so looking for every detail
