I know there is a hatchery that sells the chick for $.75. I bookmarked it, but our computer crashed. DH hasn't reloaded all the back up from Carbonite. Help?

Central Hatchery out of Nebraska is about the lowest I've seen, but I don't have any experience with them.

I just ordered some straight run CX from Schlect Hatchery at $0.90 each. Etta was very nice to deal with. I'm expecting a positive experience.

    Best of luck!

I have had very good luck with Central Hatchery's birds. Phil is kind of a ruff old guy, but actually pretty easy to work with. I had 51 of 52 survive last fall with an average dressed weight of 4.25 at 8 weeks. I have 150 on order for April. Of course I live 6 miles from the hatchery, so I can't comment on the mail portion of the business. I can tell you they sell a lot of chicks. An average summer hatch is 250,000 birds a week.
