Hello everyone, my friend's chicken is looking very sickly, so I'm posting here to get her some help... I will try to update y'all with more info about the chicken when she's able to help me with that.

They said she has a puffy chest, swollen vent, and a blue abdomen + legs. Any ideas for what may be going on? I don't believe she's Egg-Bound, has Water Belly, or Vent Gleet, but there's always a possibility she may be.

Could she have gotten kicked by something? is she a heavy hen that landing wrong may have bruised her?
They only have other chickens, so no large animals like horses, cattle, sheep, cats, or dogs. They don't have items for the chickens to get on top of, just flat land with a coop and fence surrounding it.

I have treated a bantam hen who had water belly (ascites) who had an enlarged bluish belly. The belly and chest of your hen is darker than I have seen. Can you try to give her some electrolytes and vitamins? Will she eat some moistened feed and cooked egg? I would feel of her crop and feel,us if it is full, hard, doughy, or puffy. Check to see if it empties by tomorrow morning. What do her poops look like? Can you get her vent area cleaned up with warm soapy water? Try not to stress her too much.

She is not ours, but the owners said her chest/ stomach area is soft.

The chest may be soft if she has internal laying or a reproductive infection, or water belly (ascites fluid in the belly.) Those things can slow down digestion.
