Cyst? Injury?

We have a cream legbar that is approximately 3 months old. Today was the first day in the new run, and when we herded get our the door, we noticed a growth of cyst on her. We aren't sure what it is or how to treat it. Any insight? Thank you!!

Infection of the ear... probably.

Think you can lance it to get the pus out?

That's interesting, I think I would lance that.

A vet would be best, but if not an option, l would lance it.

That looks like one heckuva ear ache. Agree with other posters, that needs to be lanced. Once the goop is out, pack it with triple antibiotic without pain reliever, do not stitch it closed, a carefully aimed squirt of larvicid to avoid the eyes and nares (this stuff usually comes in a bright purple color) should put her in the clear.

It's pretty hard. It's so swollen it's hard to tell. We think her ear is where my husband dinner is pointing. Also, a picture of the other side for comparison. Thank you!
