Has anyone seen something like this? Found this on one of my he’s necks. Doesn’t appear to have a skin puncture so I don’t think it’s a bug bite. Not sure if I should leave it or try to drain it?

Never saw anything like that.
@aart , @azygous, @Eggcessive, @Wyorp Rock, any of you see something like this before?
Is it hard or fluid filled? It looks hard in the picture and if it is, it's unlikely to drain.

Is it hard or soft or fluid filled?
Is it stuck in place or does it move around?
Any idea how log it's been there?
Is she eating/drinking/pooping/moving around OK?
Tell us more about your flock and their housing and feed.....

Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.

It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

It’s firm (not hard) but also not really soft, my best guess to describe it is that it’s like a blood blister. We noticed it about 2 days ago. She is behaving normally, eating and drinking fine. I am in ny, it’s been hot lately, in the 80s. They have a coop in shade, run with sand in it and then get let out usually everyday to roam around. The eat a mixed grain style food (not pellets)

If it's not rock hard, it's probably nothing to worry about. I would just keep an eye on it. It should shrink and the fluid in it will absorb into the tissues. You can spray it with Vetericyn to keep the surface tissues from ulcerating.

If it gets worse instead, then we may need to rethink intervention.
