D.J. is Growing and Added some NEW Pics in first post.

He looks good! The coughing afterwards is usually just from them guzzling their bottle, I wouldn't be alarmed unless he's doing it at other times too. Be sure not to let him suck on the empty bottle, he doesn't need to be sucking in air. A good way to tell whether he is a good weight is to look at his tail head. A skinny calf will have a bony tail head, a nice fat one will have a less noticeable join from body to tail.

He's a growing boy! He looks good. His ears...kinda hard to tell because there are no close-up pics, but it looks like it might be ringworm to me.

He looks so good. You have done a great job. I love it when they get to stretch their legs, the way they run and buck, make me want to get out there and run with them. Have fun, but be careful as he gets older, he is going to be a big boy. We have a rule at the farm, we do not scratch a bull on the head or neck, always from the shoulders back. They like it too much and when you have a 2500 pound bull wanting his head scratched the first thing he is going to do is rub on you and then your down for the count.

Well I was out taking more pictures today and had to post some more of the calf to show everyone how the little feller is growing. The new pictures are in the first post so you can compare him to the pics that where taken 2 months ago.

Hope you enjoy looking at them.
James

Thanks everyone for the compliments I haven't had a bottle calf in a long time and was hoping I was taking good care of him and he was growing right.
